There’s something interesting about photo walks. I’ll take the camera out and wander a location aimlessly for a while, and sometimes, I might even take some photos. Ninety-percent of the time, I get home with a memory card full of snapshots that I will never look at.

Nothing in this image is straight. The street, the building, the trash cans. Everything is leaning one way or another.

I’m gonna channel my inner Youtube Photographer here and say, “I went to Enchanted Rock and didn’t photograph Enchanted Rock.” Because it’s not because I didn’t try. I did. I just failed miserably.

I live in Texas. As a Texan, it is almost a requirement that I love my Whataburger. And I do. I really do. Too much, actually.
But the weird thing is that it wasn’t always this way. I remember being a kid in San Antonio in the 80’s and nobody really cared about Whataburger.

It was taken on a walk downtown. With a brand new camera. For some reason I’m infatuated with the look of film.

Well, I’m back. Again. As you can maybe tell, there’s not a whole lot here. When I re-activated my website, it had been on pause for well over a year, which means all the content had been stagnant for well over a year.
